Extend the Reach of the Campus Community Experience

As many students and learners struggle to feel a sense of community and belonging in a digital environment, Pisces was designed to minimize the barriers to connection and collaboration that other online conferencing platforms fail to address. We believe that human connection is at the heart of learning, and Pisces includes features that keep students focused, engaged, and feeling a sense of belonging and community

When students need help but are unable to visit campus, Pisces empowers your educators and institution to provide online solutions in a real community environment. From instructor office hours and group projects to tutoring and peer study sessions, Pisces supports a dynamic online experience while applying distance education best practices to provide regular and effective contact and comparable student services.

Web-Conferencing Tools Designed for Education & Building Confidence

Standard web-conferencing tools have definitely worked for educational institutions during times of crisis, but they fail to help students and educators stay connected and motivated for the long term. Web conferencing for business is much different than web conferencing for learning and community building. Pisces is designed to keep students focused and engaged in an online format where even the smallest of distractions or technical disruptions can derail an entire session.

Not only does Pisces have traditional conferencing tools such as audio, visual, drawing canvas/shapes, and screen sharing, but Pisces also includes academic collaboration enhancements that enable learners to communicate ideas and solutions in an intuitive and thoughtful way. Discipline-specific buttons, breakout room recordings, and personalized student referrals are examples of how Pisces helps take academic support online.

If You Build It, They Will Come: Seamless & Intuitive Experience for Students & Educators

Pisces allows institutions and educators to design online programs that work specifically for their students’ needs. With this flexibility, educators can provide synchronous and asynchronous attention and feedback for their students.

Live modes include schedule drop-in options for one-on-one (e.g. tutoring, office hours advising, counseling) and one-to-many (e.g. synchronous classrooms, workshops, supplemental instruction) meetings.

One-on-one meetings are private and automatically queue in drop-in students to make scheduling easier for students and educators.

Session recordings are available in the student’s locker so the student can review conversations to empower themselves as frequently as needed.

Live peer study groups are also available to encourage collaboration in the moment when the need arises.

Asynchronous modes include options for students to drop off a quick question or an entire written assignment to receive feedback later.
